Action Alert! 
The U.S. House of Representatives is planning to vote on the "One Big Beautiful Bill Act" the week of May 19, 2025. This is a sprawling spending bill loaded with corporate giveaways that reads like a wish list from pipeline lobbyists and their billionaire investors.  As written this bill:

• Fast-tracks dangerous pipelines, limiting public oversight and judicial review.
• Expands federal eminent domain over CO2 and other pipelines.
• Lets companies buy their way into automatic federal approval.
• Keeps the 45Q carbon capture tax credit intact, despite a record of widespread fraud and abuse.
• Expands tax shelters for the carbon capture industry and other corporations.

We can't let this happen!
This bill is packed with billions in corporate handouts for the carbon capture industry, while stripping landowners, tribes, farmers, and communities of their rights and protections. This bill is the wrong direction for our country, prioritizing the profits of politically connected corporations over the safety, property rights, and pocketbooks of everyday Americans.

We need voices from across the country including environmental groups, landowner orgs, climate advocates, public interest watchdogs to speak out now. If we don’t, Congress will let billionaires and polluters rig the rules in their favor yet again.

• I oppose plans to fast track CO2 pipelines with multimillion dollar bribes.
• I support eliminating 45Q subsidies for the carbon capture industry and stop them from threatening the health and safety of our communities with this dangerous and wasteful industry.
• Add anything else about why you oppose CCS.
