Ask Congress to cut wasteful spending and protect the public from CCS!
Carbon capture, transport, and storage (CCS) can risk public health and safety, damage cropland, pollute water, and take people's land.  Last February, hundreds of organizations called on the House Ways and Means Committee and Senate Finance Committee to use the budget reconciliation process to cut this wasteful and harmful spending.

CCS is not possible without federal subsidies provided by 45Q of the IRS tax code. Industry knows these tax credits will cost  over $800 billion in subsidies.  The Institute for Energy, Economics, and Financial Analysis has demonstrated that, if left unchecked, these subsidies could ballon to nearly $3 trillion by 2050.

Will you tell Congress to use the budget reconciliation process to cut this wasteful subsidy, and protect hard-working people from this technology? Please add your name to the petition, below.

If I understand the movie fully, it’s the Carbon Capture Businesses, who are making and taking ALL the money, and taking zero responsibility for any problems or threats to people’s lives, if a leak, or catastrophic damage happens. The Land Owners who have been directly affected get nothing but threats and grief, while the Carbon Companies are allowed to use the Land Owners properties as Collateral for THEIR projects. Meanwhile, the Land Owners suffer from the Eminent Domain and lose productive farming lands.
This seems to be a completely One Sided, highly organized operation of Theft !!! I’d be interested in knowing just how close I am to identifying some of these issues.
